At Bee Boys, we practice regenerative beekeeping methods, allowing the bees to return to themselves. Our relationship with honeybees is built on this principle, and always reflected in our product line. In our hearts and in business, the bees come first. Our apiarist listens to the bees, and allows them to guide us. We believe when in communion with bees, we become entirely ourselves.

Inside the Colonies
As beekeepers, we've come to understand that life in the colony is sacred and delicate. It's important that we allow the honeybees to keep the colony order as they desire. For this reason, our apiary practices are as follows:
Our apiary is 100% treatment free.
We encourage hygienic behavior in our bees.
We allow our bees to raise their own queens.
Bees are encouraged to constantly build their own comb. We do not use plastic foundation, we do not use beeswax foundation.
Bees are allowed to swarm, and not collected. Absolutely no plastic in the hives, this includes plastic frames, feeders and any component of the hive.
We do not paint beehives. We do not spin honey or re-use honeycomb. We refrain from pesticide and herbicide use Completely!
We do not feed bees, ever.
We do not move bees for pollination services, or to nectar sources.
We follow biodynamic principles and apply instinctual beekeeping methods. We do not purchase commercial bee stock or collect swarms.
We maintain an 8 year line of genetics- all our current colonies, came from the same colony- 8 years ago- our entire apiary is a true family.
