Apiary Alchemy is the process of communing with honeybees, in a way that inspires and influences our true self.
When working with the gifts the honeybees bring us, we begin to harmonize with the bees. As we open ourselves to the Awen & inspiration from the bees, our basic selves begin to shift & change- so advents the process of inner alchemy.
The honeybees have a message for each and every one of us. When we commune with them, we change- become something new.
“ One becomes two, two becomes three and out of the third comes the one in the fourth “

Alison Yahna founded Artemis Smiles Honeybee Sanctuary after spontaneous initiation into an ancient lineage of European bee shamanism in1999. For more than twenty years she has been an oracle of their sacred wisdom teachings, and an advocate, educator and practitioner of natural and regenerative beekeeping. She is celebrating the recent inauguration of The Mother Temple, a honeybee temple for this age - echoing those of antiquity. She is thrilled to share her love of the bees and their wisdom teachings with you on beautiful Moloka'i, daughter of the moon. (ArtemisSmiles.com)

Together, with Moloka‘i community members, we are slowly building an apiary on this friendly island. A dream come true, in this wild and magic place. Moloka’i honeybees are unique- and a bit of extra care is being taken to ensure it stays that way.
How are we starting?
By collecting and removing colonies from homes on the island of Moloka’i, and setting them up in bee boxes.
